OrangeNEWS 03/26: Product of the Month OrangeFLOOR TexMe
Dear friends of the orange media,
With March, Spring returns to Europe – which also means outdoor applications again. Temperatures are climbing back into the double digits, and these are the temperatures most films require. A look at many datasheets makes this clear: application temperature from 10°C or 12°C. It’s important not to only look at the thermometer. The air may warm up quickly in comparison to surfaces. What matters is the surface temperature where the film is to be applied. There‘s often a difference of a few degrees. The difference is extreme when it comes to the floor. With double-digit air temperatures, the ground can still be in the freezing range in the morning. So, it’s no wonder if the film doesn’t stick.
“Bonding at sub-zero temperatures down to -7°C presents no problem – IMPORTANT: the decisive factor is not the air temperature or the perceived outdoor temperature, but rather the temperature of the surface to be bonded!”
It’s great that there is an orange solution here – our OrangeFLOOR TexMe. This is a textile-based floor film with a textured surface that can be printed on directly and is applied without laminate. Primarily, this medium was designed for applications on carpeted floors – because only a textile adapts perfectly to a textile substrate. But customers were so enthusiastic about the unique surface that this film was applied to every type of floor – even outdoors! Thus, we offer our OrangeFLOOR TexMe for medium-term indoor campaigns and short-term outdoor campaigns. It helps that the adhesive is formulated to stick at temperatures as low as -7°C. So with us, you have a solution for your floor graphic campaign in Spring. And the best part: “Print-Stick-Go” applies here, as no laminate is needed and the surface is certified R11.
Orange is not only a colour – orange is the solution! We make your job a bit easier.
We hope you enjoy this product of the month as well and send orange greetings
